VITAPLUS BOULARDII 2
CN: 177214.5

VitaPLUS® Boulardii helps prevent diarrhea associated with antibiotics intake, traveler’s diarrhea, acute gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral diarrhea (caused by rotavirus in children), diarrhea of non-specific origin and prevention of recurrent infection associated with Clostridium difficile.

VitaPLUS® Boulardii combines on one hand two types of microorganisms, the probiotic yeast called Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM-I-1079 250 mg, and the lactic bacteria Bifidobacterium lactis LAFTI® B94 3 x 109 CFU, Lactobacillus rhamnosus R11 4 x 109 CFU and Lactobacillus helveticus R52 4 x 109 CFU, and on the other the benefits of fructooligosaccharides (FOS-Actilight®) 500 mg.

This combination helps restore the balance of the intestinal microbiota in those situations in which it may have been altered.

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS-Actilight®) are a type of soluble fiber with prebiotic properties stimulating the normal microbiota and helping to keep the digestive system healthy.

The prebiotic effect of FOS-Actilight® has been demonstrated in more than 50 clinical studies carried out on humans.

ALTERATION OF THE INTESTINAL MICROBIOTA OR INTESTINAL DISBIOSIS

Intestinal dysbiosis is an important imbalance of the intestinal microbiota. These changes in the concentration of intestinal bacteria can contribute to the development or worsening of many disorders or chronic intestinal degenerative diseases: acute diarrhea, diarrhea associated or not with antibiotics, traveler’s diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) , ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, pouchitis, Clostridium difficile infection.

VitaPLUS® Boulardii is a food supplement with symbiotic action (combining probiotics and prebiotics), which favors the survival and implantation of probiotics, therefore its activity in the gastrointestinal tract, and growth against potentially pathogenic microorganisms.
